It pays to prepare early. When Juno told me she would like to add some Christmasy grooves to her repertoire collection, I wasted no time in presenting a duet series of classic tunes. She had previously expressed desire for my involvement in making music, a bonus above performing the songs solo to her audience of family and friends at the advent of this festive season. Within two weeks, she has entrenched a strong familiarity with this song and polished her playing and counting technique. Now, it's just waiting for the right moment to execute a brilliant performance.
