My student E performed Somewhere Out There from the Disney classic film, An American Tail. Revives vibes from the 80s, doesn't it? :)

Preparation work took months because she started to learn the notes and rhythm from scratch, how and when to turn the page independently without disrupting the music (this is an extremely essential skill, by the way), and numerous mock recordings to acclimatize to playing in the presence of an "audience".
