Student Activity: Relative Keys

When a learner reaches Grade 2 in theory, the concept of minor keys is introduced. This broadens a student's horizon from major keys. Based on my observations and experience, students typically struggle as the concept is dense and slightly complicated. For instance, they are acquainted with melodic and harmonic versions, the rules for each version, and the relationship between a minor and its relative major.


Teaching it plainly without injecting elements of fun makes the chapter highly boring, resulting in difficulty grasping the concept and a reduction in the student's interest. This game below helps to lighten the lesson while assisting to drill what is needed
